Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Thousand Oaks, CA
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Thousand Oaks sits in the Conejo Valley, a large suburban community where neighborhoods stretch along US-101 and Thousand Oaks Boulevard, often a long way from the nearest clinic. With public transit thin and the terrain hilly, getting to care without a car is harder than it should be. We deliver professional, door-to-door medical transportation across Thousand Oaks for dialysis sessions, checkups at Los Robles Regional Medical Center, specialist visits at Kaiser Permanente Thousand Oaks, and the everyday outings that matter, from a morning at the Goebel Adult Community Center to a trip out to The Oaks.
Each ride starts right at your door. Our drivers greet you, lend an arm to the vehicle, and make sure you're comfortable before pulling away. When you finish up, we're already there to bring you home. This is the care you'd line up for your own parent, grounded in one plain fact: the rider in our vehicle is the whole world to someone.

Testimonials
Post-surgery transport shouldn't be this good, but here we are. On time, spotless vehicle, driver who actually cares. I've recommended them to everyone in my recovery group.
– Frank L.
I live far from my parents and can't drive them to their frequent medical visits. This service has been an absolute godsend. Reliable, affordable, and they treat my parents like family.
– Keith H.
My husband and I both use wheelchairs. They accommodated both of us in one vehicle for the same appointment. The drivers secured both chairs and we rode together comfortably. Wonderful service.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
Getting started is simple — call 877-369-5457 or use the "Book a Ride" button right here on the site. For trips that aren't urgent, a day or two of notice is best, though we can often work in same-day rides depending on where you are and what's open nearby.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
A day or two of lead time handles most appointments comfortably. US-101 commute traffic through the Conejo Valley, plus the longer hauls some riders make to Los Angeles for specialty care, can stretch your travel window, so allow extra room on out-of-area trips. Recurring dialysis schedules can be locked in just once.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Just tell us when you book and we'll handle the rest. Our wheelchair-accessible vans come fitted with ramps and secure tie-down systems, and they accommodate manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters alike. We'll match the right vehicle to your ride before we arrive at your door.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Yes, and we welcome it. A loved one or caregiver is glad to come along, and there's usually no added charge for the extra seat. Mention it when you book so your driver knows to expect a second rider and saves room.

What is NEMT?
NEMT stands for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation. Picture a scheduled, professional ride for anyone who needs a safe, dependable way to reach their care but isn't dealing with the kind of crisis that calls for an ambulance.
It serves people for whom driving is hard or no longer safe — older adults who've stopped driving, riders living with a disability, and anyone managing a long-term condition. The vehicle is matched to the rider, from wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs to stretcher transport and standard cars with a driver ready to lend an arm.
For many riders, the need repeats on a fixed rhythm — dialysis, chemotherapy, physical therapy, regular checkups. For others, it's a single trip, like a lift home after same-day surgery or a hospital discharge. The purpose holds steady either way: linking people to their care so they can stay healthy and independent.
Powered by Modern Technology
Every trip runs on Duet, the NEMT software platform we count on. It puts live vehicle tracking in your hands, keeps scheduling steady, and connects you with your driver from pickup to drop-off.
More Than a Ride
When a family reaches out to us, they're handing over someone irreplaceable — a mother, a husband, a lifelong friend. We never take that lightly. From the first call through the moment a rider is safely back inside, every choice we make circles around one promise: nobody who trusts us with a loved one should worry about the ride.
