Testimonials

I was discharged with strict instructions not to bend or twist. The driver helped me into the vehicle in a way that kept my spine straight. He clearly had training for situations like mine.
– Bruce N.

My aunt has dialysis every other day. The drivers know her routine, know her building, know which entrance to use. That level of familiarity makes every ride feel safe and personal.
– Lorraine R.

My daily wheelchair makes transport complicated because of its size and weight. But these drivers always manage it skillfully. I never feel rushed or that my chair is a burden. Truly professional.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a ride?

The easiest way is to call 877-369-5457 or tap "Book a Ride" on our site. For non-urgent appointments, giving us a day or two of notice helps us match you with the best driver and vehicle for your needs.

Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?

We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.

How far in advance should I schedule?

We recommend booking at least 24 hours ahead, especially for early appointments at Lakeland Regional Health or AdventHealth Heart of Florida. SR-33 and I-4 can get congested during rush hours, so lead time helps. For dialysis and other recurring rides, we'll set up a standing schedule.

What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?

Absolutely. Tell us about your mobility needs when you book and we'll send the appropriate vehicle. We have vans fitted with ramps and four-point tie-down systems that safely accommodate manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters.

Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?

Of course. A companion — whether that's a spouse, adult child, or caregiver — can ride along at no additional cost on most rides. Mention it when booking so we have a seat ready.

Questions? We're here to help!

What is NEMT?

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — NEMT for short — is a ride service built for people who have medical appointments but don't need an ambulance. It covers routine checkups, recurring dialysis sessions, and discharge rides home from the hospital.

NEMT serves seniors who no longer drive, people living with disabilities, and anyone whose health condition makes getting behind the wheel difficult or unsafe. The vehicles match the rider's needs — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher transport for those who can't sit upright, and cars with drivers trained in hands-on walking assistance.

Many riders use NEMT on a recurring basis — dialysis three times a week, radiation therapy, physical rehabilitation. Others need a single ride home after outpatient surgery or a hospital stay. Either way, it's about reliable transportation so health conditions don't go untreated.

Powered by Modern Technology

Every ride we provide is powered by Duet, a trusted NEMT technology platform. With Duet, you get real-time tracking, consistent scheduling, and direct communication between you and your driver from booking to drop-off.

More Than a Ride

Every time someone books a ride with us, they're trusting us with a parent, a spouse, a neighbor who means the world to them. From the first phone call to the moment your loved one is safely home, everything we do is built around one promise: no one riding with us should ever have to worry about the ride.
