Why Choose Us
Dickinson sits along the I-45 corridor in Galveston County, and the healthcare its residents depend on is spread across multiple nearby cities — HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland in Texas City, UTMB Health League City Campus Hospital up the road, Houston Physicians' Hospital in Webster. Add in dialysis at DaVita Victory Lakes and specialist appointments at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, and reliable transportation becomes essential. Testimonials
I've had bad experiences with medical transport before, so I was skeptical. But this team changed my mind completely. Professional, punctual, and genuinely caring. The ride home after my procedure was seamless.
– Sandra G.
Twice a week for cardiac rehab. I set up the recurring schedule once, confirmed the times, and haven't had to think about it since. Every ride has been punctual and professional.
– Janet H.
What I appreciate most is that the drivers don't make assumptions. They ask me what I need, how I want to be positioned, and whether I'm comfortable. That respect for my autonomy means everything.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
Just give us a call at 877-369-5457 or hit the "Book a Ride" button on this page. We suggest reserving a day or two in advance for routine appointments, but same-day rides are sometimes available based on driver coverage in your area.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule my ride?
Booking a day or two ahead works best, especially for rides to League City, Webster, or Houston where I-45 traffic can add 20-30 minutes. For dialysis or other recurring appointments, we lock in a standing schedule so you're covered every week automatically.
Do your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs?
Absolutely. Tell us when you're booking and we'll make sure a wheelchair-accessible van is assigned — equipped with a ramp and secure tie-down system. We accommodate manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters, so you'll always have the right vehicle for your needs.
Can a family member ride along?
Of course. A companion, family member, or caregiver can ride along at no additional cost in most situations. Mention it when you book and we'll make sure there's room and your driver knows to expect them.

What is NEMT?
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, known as NEMT, provides safe, dependable rides for people who need to get to medical appointments but aren't in a situation that calls for an ambulance.
NEMT riders are typically seniors who no longer drive, people with disabilities, and anyone managing a health condition that makes getting behind the wheel difficult. Vehicles include wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher transport for those who need to lie flat, and standard cars with drivers who provide hands-on walking assistance.
The most frequent NEMT rides follow a recurring pattern — dialysis three days a week, radiation treatments, physical therapy. But the service also handles one-time needs like getting home after outpatient surgery or a hospital discharge. It's about keeping people connected to the care that helps them stay well.
Powered by Modern Technology
Every Dickinson ride is powered by Duet, a trusted NEMT software platform. That gives you real-time vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and direct communication with your driver from pickup to drop-off.
More Than a Ride
Every ride we take represents a family's trust — someone's parent, spouse, or friend placed in our care. Our drivers treat every rider the way they'd treat their own grandparent, with patience and genuine attention. Everything we do is built around one promise: the person riding with us, and the person waiting at home, should never have to worry.
