Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Maiden, NC
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Maiden is a small town without a hospital of its own, which means residents depend on facilities in Hickory, Newton, and Lincolnton for most of their medical care. Whether you're heading to Catawba Valley Medical Center for a specialist visit, Frye Regional Medical Center for a procedure, or Fresenius Kidney Care Newton for dialysis three times a week, that 15-to-25-minute drive along NC-16 or US-321 can be a real barrier when you can't drive yourself. We provide professional, door-to-door medical transportation across Maiden and Catawba County for dialysis appointments, hospital visits, doctor checkups, and the everyday rides that keep life moving.
Every ride begins at your front door. Our drivers greet you, walk with you to the vehicle, and make sure you're settled before heading out. When you're finished with your appointment, they're waiting. It's the kind of care we'd arrange for our own families — patient, dependable, and built around the understanding that you're trusting us with someone who matters deeply to you.

Testimonials
I've been discharged from hospitals three times this year and used this service each time. Consistently excellent — always on time, always professional, always a clean vehicle.
– Andrew N.
I manage care for both my parents. He goes to cardiology weekly, she goes to rheumatology biweekly. They handle both schedules flawlessly. I couldn't do this without them.
– Wayne T.
I use a scooter, not a traditional wheelchair, and some services won't accommodate it. These folks had no problem at all. Ramp was perfect for my scooter and the driver knew how to secure it properly.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
You can reach us at 877-369-5457 or use the "Book a Ride" button right on our site. We suggest booking a day or two in advance for most trips, though same-day rides may be available depending on your location.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule my ride?
Booking at least 24 hours ahead works best, especially for early-morning dialysis runs to Fresenius Kidney Care Newton, which tend to fill up quickly. For recurring appointments, we'll set up a standing schedule so your rides are locked in each week.
Do your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs?
Absolutely. Our vehicles include wheelchair-accessible vans fitted with ramps and secure tie-down systems for manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters. Just tell us what you need when you book, and we'll make sure the right vehicle shows up.
Can a family member ride along?
Of course — a family member or caregiver is welcome to come along on most rides at no extra cost. Simply mention it when you're booking so we can make sure the driver is prepared.

What is NEMT?
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, often called NEMT, provides a safe and dependable way for people to reach medical appointments when they don't need an ambulance but can't drive themselves. It fills a gap that rideshare and public transit simply weren't designed for.
Seniors who've stopped driving, people with disabilities, and those managing chronic conditions are the riders who depend on NEMT most. Vehicles range from wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs to stretcher-equipped transport and standard cars with trained walking assistance.
Most rides follow a recurring pattern — dialysis three times a week, radiation therapy, physical rehab, or regular specialist visits. Others are one-time needs like a hospital discharge or post-surgery pickup. The purpose is always the same: connecting people with the care that keeps them healthy and independent.
Powered by Modern Technology
Behind every ride is Duet, a trusted NEMT software platform that powers our scheduling and dispatch. That means real-time vehicle tracking, dependable pickups, and clear communication between you and your driver throughout the trip.
More Than a Ride
When you call us, you're placing a parent, a spouse, or a neighbor in our care. We don't take that lightly. From booking to drop-off, everything we do comes back to one idea: the person riding with us and the person who arranged the ride should both feel completely at ease.
