How do I book a ride?
Booking is simple — give us a call at 877-369-5457 or tap the "Book a Ride" button on this page. For non-urgent trips we recommend 24 to 48 hours of advance notice, though same-day rides may still be available depending on driver availability around the Yalaha area.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
Because Yalaha is rural and every appointment means a 15 to 25 minute drive to Leesburg, Tavares, or Mount Dora, 24 to 48 hours of lead time is ideal. Same-day rides depend on Lake County driver availability, and Orlando-area specialty trips should be booked at least 48 hours ahead.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Just mention it during the booking call and we'll send a wheelchair-accessible van. Each van comes equipped with a ramp and securement straps that work for manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters alike. Tell us which type you use so the right vehicle pulls up to your door.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
