Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Baymeadows, FL
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Baymeadows sprawls across the southern half of Jacksonville, with healthcare clusters along Baymeadows Road, Old St. Augustine Road, and the Philips Highway corridor — and an I-95 spine that turns a five-mile trip into a half-hour at the wrong time of day. We provide professional medical transportation throughout Baymeadows and Duval County for residents heading to Ascension St. Vincent's Southside Hospital, recurring sessions at Fresenius Kidney Care Mandarin or Innovative Renal Care South Jacksonville Dialysis, urgent care at UF Health on Baymeadows Road, or specialty appointments out east at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville along J. Turner Butler Boulevard.
Our drivers come to your front door — not the curb, not the gate, your door. They walk you out, help you settle, and stay until you're inside the building at the other end. When the appointment finishes, we're already in the lot waiting. It's the steady, hands-on care you'd want for someone in your own family.

My sister needs rides to her pulmonologist every other week. The service is so reliable that I've stopped even thinking about it. That's the highest compliment I can give — it just works.

The inside of the vehicle is spacious enough for my wheelchair and a companion. The driver locked my chair in position and the ride was so smooth I nearly fell asleep. Top-notch experience.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
Booking only takes a moment. Pick up the phone and call 877-369-5457, or click the "Book a Ride" button right on this page, and we'll lock in your pickup. We suggest reserving 24 to 48 hours ahead for non-urgent trips, though same-day rides are sometimes possible when a driver is already nearby.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule my ride?
Book 24 hours ahead when you can — especially for early-morning Mayo Clinic appointments out on San Pablo Road or anything that pushes you through the I-95 and JTB rush-hour squeeze. Recurring treatments like dialysis run smoother on a standing weekly schedule, and same-day rides are accommodated when a driver's free.
Do your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs?
Yes — just flag it when you book and we'll send the right van. Our wheelchair-accessible vehicles include proper ramps and full tie-down systems, and they handle manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters without trouble. Nothing extra to do on your end besides telling us what you use.
Can a family member ride along?
In most cases, yes — a family member or caregiver is welcome to come along at no added cost. Just give us a heads-up at booking so the driver knows to plan for a second seat.

What is NEMT?
NEMT, or Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, is a planned ride service for people who need to reach healthcare safely but aren't in a situation that calls for an ambulance. Think outpatient procedures, dialysis cycles, hospital discharges, and routine office visits.
NEMT riders are usually seniors who've handed over the car keys, adults living with a disability, or people managing conditions that make driving risky. Vehicles match the rider — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher rigs for patients who can't sit, and standard cars whose drivers walk you in and back out.
Some of our trips repeat on a calendar — dialysis several mornings a week, oncology cycles, weekly physical therapy. Others happen once, like an outpatient surgery pickup or a discharge home. The end goal is the same: getting people to the care that keeps them healthier and independent.
Powered by Modern Technology
Every Baymeadows ride is dispatched through Duet, a leading NEMT software platform that delivers live vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and direct rider-to-driver contact from the moment you book.
More Than a Ride
A ride with us is rarely just a ride. It's a daughter handing us her father, a husband handing us his wife, a friend handing us someone who matters. We carry that with both hands — and from the first call to the moment your loved one is safely back inside, our promise stays the same.
