Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Atlantic Beach, FL
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Atlantic Beach is a small oceanside town, but the medical care our residents rely on is mostly inland — across the Intracoastal Waterway and a long stretch of Atlantic Boulevard. Whether you're heading to Mayo Clinic Florida out on San Pablo Road, a routine visit to Baptist Medical Center Beaches, a dialysis session at Fresenius Kidney Care Jax Beach, or a specialist at Ascension St. Vincent's Southside, getting there on time means knowing the bridges, the rush hour patterns, and how long the drive really takes. We provide door-to-door medical transportation across Atlantic Beach and Duval County for dialysis, hospital trips, and the everyday rides that keep life moving.
Every ride begins at your front door. Our drivers greet you, walk you to the vehicle, and make sure you're settled before we pull away. When your appointment wraps up, we're already there. It's the kind of attention you'd want for your own mother or father — patient, on time, and grounded in the simple fact that the person riding with us is somebody's whole world.

Testimonials
The driver arrived ten minutes early and was waiting with a smile. After four days in the hospital, that kind of reliability felt like a gift. Clean van, smooth ride, friendly service.
– Joseph H.
I coordinate rides for my father from three time zones away. The online booking is straightforward, and I get text confirmations for every pickup and dropoff. Technology and compassion working together.
– Albert S.
Getting from my house to the vehicle used to be the worst part. The driver pushed my chair over the bumpy sidewalk carefully and even noticed a crack I usually struggle with. That awareness matters.
– Hazel D.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
Booking is simple — call us at 877-369-5457 or tap the "Book a Ride" button on our website. We recommend reserving 24 to 48 hours ahead for non-urgent trips, though same-day rides are sometimes available depending on where you are and what's on the schedule.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
For routine appointments, 24 to 48 hours of lead time is best. Pickups in Atlantic Beach often mean longer inland drives to Mayo Clinic, Baptist downtown, or UF Health, so a little extra notice helps — especially for early-morning dialysis or surgery during Atlantic Boulevard rush hour.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Just mention it at booking. Our vehicles include wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and secure tie-down systems, and we accommodate manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters. We'll match the appropriate van to your trip before your driver heads out.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Of course — bringing a family member or caregiver along is welcome, and there's no extra charge in most cases. Just let us know at booking so the driver knows to expect a second passenger.

What is NEMT?
NEMT is shorthand for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — a dedicated ride service for people who need to reach a medical appointment safely but aren't dealing with an emergency that requires an ambulance.
The riders who use NEMT are typically older adults who've stopped driving, people living with a disability, and anyone whose health condition makes the drive unsafe. The vehicles match the rider — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps, stretcher-equipped transport for those who can't sit up, and standard sedans with drivers trained to walk you in and out.
Most of our trips are part of an ongoing routine — kidney dialysis, cancer treatment, post-stroke therapy, monthly specialist follow-ups — alongside one-time rides home from outpatient surgery or a hospital discharge. The aim never changes: keep people moving toward the care that lets them stay healthy and live with as much independence as possible.
Powered by Modern Technology
Every ride we run is coordinated through Duet, a leading NEMT software platform that gives us live tracking, dependable scheduling, and clean communication between riders and drivers.
More Than a Ride
Booking a ride with us is really an act of trust — placing a parent, partner, or close friend in our hands for an hour or two. We don't take that lightly. From the first call until the front door closes safely behind your loved one, every detail is built so the family waiting at home never has to wonder how the trip is going.
