Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Indian Hills, CO
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Indian Hills is a quiet mountain community with a lot to love, but it doesn't have a single hospital, clinic, or pharmacy within its borders. Residents who need medical care travel 25 to 40 minutes down the mountain to CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, or AdventHealth Littleton to the south along US-285. We provide professional, door-to-door medical transportation for Indian Hills and Jefferson County residents, handling dialysis sessions at DaVita Red Rocks Dialysis, specialist visits, hospital trips, and the everyday rides that keep life on track — like picking up groceries in Conifer or meeting friends at Evergreen Lake.
Every ride begins at your front door. Our drivers greet you, help you to the vehicle, and make sure you're comfortable before heading down Parmalee Gulch Road toward your appointment. When you're finished, they're there waiting to bring you home. It's the kind of attentive, personal care we'd arrange for our own families — and it's what every Indian Hills rider deserves.

Testimonials
The driver arrived with a wheelchair already loaded, which I didn't even have to ask for. That kind of preparation shows they really understand what patients need after hospital stays.
– Alice R.
My aunt has dialysis every other day. The drivers know her routine, know her building, know which entrance to use. That level of familiarity makes every ride feel safe and personal.
– Lorraine R.
The driver noticed that my wheelchair's footrest was loose before I even mentioned it. He tightened it before securing my chair for the ride. That kind of observation shows real experience and care.
– Clifford J.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
You can call us at 877-369-5457 or use the "Book a Ride" button right here on our website. For non-urgent appointments, we recommend booking a day or two in advance so we can match you with the right vehicle, though same-day availability may be possible.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule my ride?
We suggest booking 24 to 48 hours ahead for routine visits. Since Indian Hills has no local medical facilities and rides to hospitals run 25 to 40 minutes each way, extra lead time helps — especially in winter when mountain roads can slow travel. For recurring dialysis or therapy, we'll set up a standing schedule.
Do your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs?
Absolutely. Let us know when you book your ride, and we'll send a wheelchair-accessible van equipped with a ramp and secure tie-down system. We handle manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters, and our drivers are trained to help you board and exit safely.
Can a family member ride along?
Of course — a family member or caregiver is welcome to come along at no additional cost in most cases. Just let us know when you book so your driver knows to expect an extra passenger.

What is NEMT?
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, or NEMT, is a professional ride service for people who need reliable help reaching healthcare appointments but don't require an ambulance. It covers dialysis treatments, follow-up visits, hospital discharges, outpatient surgery pickups, and routine check-ups.
NEMT serves seniors who no longer drive, people managing disabilities, and anyone whose health condition makes getting behind the wheel unsafe or impractical. The vehicles are purpose-built for these riders — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher transport for patients who can't sit up, and cars with drivers trained in hands-on walking support.
Most rides are recurring — dialysis three days a week, physical therapy sessions, radiation appointments, regular doctor visits. Others are one-time needs, like getting home after outpatient surgery or a hospital stay. In every case, the goal is the same: keeping people connected to the care that helps them stay healthy and live independently.
Powered by Modern Technology
Our rides are coordinated through Duet, a trusted NEMT software platform. That means real-time vehicle tracking, reliable scheduling, and clear communication between you and your driver from the moment you book until you're safely home.
More Than a Ride
When someone in Indian Hills calls us, they're trusting us with a parent, a spouse, or a neighbor for a long ride down the mountain. We take that seriously. Everything we do is built around one thing: making sure the person in our care and the people counting on them never have to worry about the ride.
