Non-emergency medical transportation in Conifer, CO

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Conifer, CO

Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Why Choose Us

Living in the mountains means living with distance. Conifer sits at over 8,000 feet along US-285, and the nearest hospitals are 35 to 50 minutes down the canyon in Lakewood and Littleton. Whether you're heading to CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital for a scheduled procedure, AdventHealth Littleton for a follow-up, or DaVita Littleton Dialysis Center three times a week, getting there safely takes more than a car — it takes a driver who knows these roads. We provide professional, door-to-door medical transportation across Conifer, Jefferson County, and the Denver metro for dialysis, specialist visits, hospital trips, and the everyday rides that keep life moving.

Every ride begins at your front door. Our drivers greet you, help you to the vehicle, and make sure you're comfortable before heading down the mountain. When your appointment wraps up, they're waiting to bring you home. It's personal, attentive care — the kind you'd want for your own parent — built on the understanding that every person we drive is someone a family is trusting us with.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a ride?

The easiest way is to call us directly at 877-369-5457, or you can use the "Book a Ride" button on our website. Booking a day or two ahead for non-urgent rides gives us the best chance to have a driver ready, though same-day requests are sometimes possible.

Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?

We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.

How far in advance should I schedule my ride?

We recommend 24 to 48 hours for routine visits. Since rides from Conifer travel 35 to 50 minutes down US-285, extra lead time helps — especially in winter when mountain conditions can add delays. For recurring dialysis or therapy, we can set up a standing schedule.

Do your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs?

They do. Just mention it when you book and we'll assign a wheelchair-accessible van equipped with a ramp and secure tie-down system. We accommodate manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters, and our drivers are trained to handle securement properly.

Can a family member ride along?

Of course. We encourage it. A family member or caregiver can ride with you at no additional cost in most situations — just mention it when you book so we'll have the right vehicle ready.

What is NEMT?

NEMT — Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — provides safe, professional rides to healthcare appointments for people who don't need an ambulance but can't get there on their own. That covers everything from recurring dialysis appointments to post-surgery pickups and routine check-ups.

NEMT is built for seniors who've given up their keys, people living with disabilities, and anyone dealing with a health condition that makes driving difficult or dangerous. Vehicles include wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and secure tie-downs, stretcher transport for those who can't sit upright, and standard cars with drivers trained to provide walking assistance.

The rides that make up most of the NEMT schedule are recurring ones — dialysis three days a week, radiation cycles, physical therapy, routine check-ups. Single rides for hospital discharges and outpatient surgery pickups are common too. The whole point is keeping people connected to the healthcare that helps them stay well and live independently.

Powered by Modern Technology

Every Conifer ride is powered by Duet, a trusted NEMT software platform. That gives you real-time vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and direct communication with your driver from the moment you book.

More Than a Ride

When a family in Conifer calls us, they're deciding who to trust with someone they love — often for a long ride down the mountain. We don't take that lightly. Everything we do, from booking to drop-off, is built around one promise: the person in our care and the person waiting at home should never have to worry about the ride.
