Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in South Bay, CA

Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Why Choose Us

The South Bay stretches across more than a dozen communities — from Palo Alto and Mountain View in the north down through Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Campbell, and Los Gatos — and getting to the right facility on the right day takes a transportation partner who knows the whole region. We provide door-to-door medical rides across Santa Clara County, connecting riders with Stanford Health Care in Palo Alto, El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara, Sutter Health Palo Alto Medical Foundation, and the dialysis centers, specialist clinics, and senior programs scattered between them.

Every ride begins with a knock at your door. Our drivers walk you to the vehicle, settle you in, and meet you again at the entrance when the appointment is over. It's the kind of attention you'd arrange yourself for a parent or a spouse — patient, present, and built on the simple idea that the rider in our care is someone you love.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a ride?

Reach us at 877-369-5457 or tap the "Book a Ride" button anywhere on the site. We recommend booking 24 to 48 hours ahead for non-urgent trips, and same-day rides may be possible depending on driver availability in your part of the region.

Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?

We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.

How far in advance should I schedule?

For routine trips inside one community, 24 to 48 hours works well. The South Bay is large, so cross-region rides — Gilroy up to Stanford in Palo Alto — should be booked three or more days out. Commute traffic on US-101 and I-280 affects timing, so build in cushion.

What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?

Mention it when you book and we'll dispatch one of our wheelchair-accessible vans, fitted with a ramp and a secure tie-down system. We carry manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters, and we'll match the right vehicle and driver to your trip.

Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?

Yes — bringing a family member or caregiver along is welcome at no extra charge in most cases. Just let us know during booking so the driver plans for the additional seat and is expecting two passengers at pickup.

What is NEMT?

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, or NEMT, is a focused ride service for people who need a safe, attentive way to reach medical care without calling for an ambulance. The trips are planned, the vehicles are equipped for accessibility, and the drivers are trained to assist.

Most riders are seniors, people living with disabilities, and patients managing long-term conditions that make driving difficult. Vehicle options range from wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, to stretcher-equipped transport for patients who can't sit upright, to standard cars where the driver provides hands-on walking assistance.

Some rides repeat on a tight schedule — dialysis three days a week, radiation, physical therapy — while others are one-off trips like a hospital discharge or an outpatient surgery pickup. The aim is simple: keep people connected to the care that keeps them healthier and on their own terms.

Powered by Modern Technology

Behind every South Bay ride is Duet, a leading NEMT software platform that handles real-time vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and clear communication between rider and driver from pickup to drop-off.

More Than a Ride

Booking a ride with us means handing over the care of someone who matters. We don't take that lightly. From the first call to the moment your loved one is back home, everything we do is built on one promise: nobody riding with us — and nobody waiting at home — should ever wonder whether the ride will show up.
