Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Rockville, MD
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Rockville anchors the I-270 biotech corridor, and so does its healthcare — Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center sits at the north end, a cluster of dialysis chairs runs along Rockville Pike, and specialty care at Suburban Hospital, the NIH Clinical Center, and MedStar Montgomery pulls riders south and east all week long. Getting between any of them — or out to a grandchild's recital in Gaithersburg or a church service in Town Center — takes more than a rideshare that may or may not show up. We provide door-to-door medical transportation across Rockville and Montgomery County for dialysis appointments, hospital visits, outpatient procedures, and the everyday trips that keep life moving.
Every trip begins at your front door. A driver walks up, greets you by name, helps you into the vehicle, and makes sure you're settled before we pull away. When your appointment ends, we're already there — not stuck behind a Rockville Pike backup trying to circle back. It's the kind of ride we'd book for our own parents, and the only way we know how to treat the person you love most.

Testimonials
After a week in the hospital, the last thing I wanted was a bumpy, uncomfortable ride. The vehicle was newer, the suspension was smooth, and the driver took the gentlest route. Much appreciated.
– Donald V.
I moved for work but my elderly mother stayed behind. Knowing she has reliable rides to all her appointments lets me sleep at night. The drivers truly care about their passengers.
– Roy K.
The driver positioned my wheelchair near the window so I could see outside during the ride. It seems like a small thing but it made the trip so much more pleasant. Thoughtful service.
– Vivian S.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
Give us a call at 877-369-5457 or click the "Book a Ride" button at the top of this page. We ask for 24 to 48 hours of notice on non-urgent trips, though same-day rides in the Rockville area are often possible if a vehicle is free nearby.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
For in-city Rockville rides to Shady Grove or a local dialysis center, a day ahead is usually enough. Trips down I-270 to Bethesda, NIH, or a DC-area hospital can hit 20 to 30 minutes of extra traffic, so aim for 48 hours of lead time on those. Same-day rides may be available.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Just flag it at booking and we'll line one up. Our wheelchair-accessible vans come with ramps and secure tie-down systems, and we handle manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and mobility scooters. The right vehicle is matched to your trip automatically.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Yes — a loved one or caregiver is welcome to come along at no extra charge in most cases. Just mention the extra passenger when you book so the driver has a seat ready and knows to expect the two of you.

What is NEMT?
NEMT — Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — fills the gap between "I can drive myself" and "I need an ambulance." It's a professional ride service for people who need a safe, dependable way to reach medical appointments without calling 911.
The riders who count on NEMT are usually older adults who've handed in the keys, people living with disabilities, and anyone whose condition makes driving risky. Vehicles come in different shapes — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher-equipped transport, and standard cars driven by someone trained to offer a steady arm.
Plenty of NEMT trips repeat on a calendar — dialysis three mornings a week, weekly chemo infusions, regular physical therapy — while others happen only once, like the ride home after same-day surgery. In every case the purpose is the same: getting people to the care that keeps them well.
Powered by Modern Technology
Behind every trip sits Duet (https://www.duetinc.com/), a leading NEMT software platform built for live vehicle tracking, on-time scheduling, and steady two-way contact between the rider, the family, and the driver.
More Than a Ride
A ride with us is never just a ride. The person sitting in the back is someone's mother, someone's husband, someone's lifelong friend — and the family that called us in is trusting us with the person who matters most to them. That trust is what shapes every mile, from the first phone call through the last goodbye at the front door.
