Why Choose Us
Highlands Ranch is one of Colorado's largest communities, spanning over 22,000 acres across Douglas County with medical facilities clustered along the eastern corridor near I-25 and in neighboring Lone Tree. Testimonials
The hospital called the ride for me and within forty minutes I was on my way home. The driver introduced himself, asked how I was feeling, and made sure the temperature was comfortable. Small things that made a big difference.
– Nancy T.
My mom needs regular blood work and checkups. The booking process is easy for recurring rides — I set the schedule once and they handle the rest. Couldn't be simpler.
– Diana N.
As a veteran in a wheelchair, I've dealt with a lot of medical transport. This is the first service where I felt like a person, not a logistics problem. The drivers respect you and your chair.
– Marcus J.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
You can call us at 877-369-5457 or use the "Book a Ride" button right on our website. We recommend booking 24-48 hours ahead for non-urgent rides, though same-day availability may be possible depending on where you're located.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule my ride?
For local appointments, 24-48 hours ahead is ideal. Rides to UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora should be booked earlier due to the 30-40 minute drive and C-470/I-25 congestion. If you have recurring appointments like dialysis, we'll lock in a standing schedule so you never have to rebook.
Do your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs?
Absolutely. Tell us when you book and we'll make sure the right vehicle is ready. Our wheelchair-accessible vans are equipped with ramps and secure tie-down systems, and we handle manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and scooters.
Can a family member ride along?
Definitely. We welcome a family member or caregiver to ride along, and there's no extra charge in most cases. Just let us know ahead of time so the driver is prepared for the additional passenger.

What is NEMT?
NEMT stands for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation. It's built for people who need a safe, reliable ride to healthcare visits but don't need an ambulance — things like dialysis, follow-up appointments, hospital discharges, and specialist care.
The riders who use NEMT are typically seniors who no longer drive, people managing disabilities, and anyone whose health makes getting behind the wheel impractical. Vehicles are matched to each rider — wheelchair-accessible vans, stretcher transport, and standard vehicles with trained drivers who provide walking support.
Many rides follow a recurring pattern — dialysis three days a week, radiation treatments, physical therapy, regular check-ups. Others are one-time needs, like a ride home after outpatient surgery or a hospital stay. In every case, the purpose is the same: making sure people reach the care that keeps them healthy and living independently.
Powered by Modern Technology
Highlands Ranch rides are powered by Duet, a trusted NEMT software platform. That means real-time vehicle tracking, reliable scheduling, and clear driver communication on every ride from booking to drop-off.
More Than a Ride
When someone books a ride with us, they're placing the safety of a parent, a spouse, or a close friend in our hands. From the first phone call to the moment your loved one is settled back home, everything we do comes down to one promise: the person in our care will be treated the way we'd want our own family treated.
