Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Galveston, TX

Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Why Choose Us

Galveston's healthcare facilities are anchored by UTMB Health — and whether you're heading to John Sealy Hospital for a procedure, a dialysis session at DaVita Island Dialysis, or a specialist visit on the UTMB campus, getting there on time matters. We provide door-to-door medical transportation across Galveston and Galveston County for dialysis, hospital visits, specialist care, and the everyday rides that keep life moving. For trips across the I-45 causeway to facilities in Texas City, League City, or the Houston Medical Center, we handle the drive so you can focus on your health.

Every ride starts at your front door. Our drivers greet you, help you to the vehicle, and make sure you're settled before we head out. When you're done with your appointment, they're waiting. It's attentive, patient service built on a simple idea — the person riding with us is someone's parent, someone's spouse, someone's closest friend, and we treat them that way.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a ride?

Reach us at 877-369-5457 or hit the "Book a Ride" button right here on our website. Scheduling a day or two ahead gives us the best chance to match you with the ideal vehicle and driver, though same-day availability is often possible in the Galveston area.

Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?

We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.

How far in advance should I schedule?

A day or two of notice works well for routine visits, and dialysis can be set up as a standing schedule. Since Galveston is an island connected by the I-45 causeway, mainland trips benefit from 24-48 hours of lead time — especially during tourist season.

What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?

Absolutely — just mention it when you schedule your ride and we'll match you with the appropriate vehicle. Our fleet includes vans fitted with ramps and secure tie-down systems built for manual chairs, power chairs, and mobility scooters.

Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?

Of course. A family member or caregiver is welcome to accompany you on any ride, typically at no additional charge. Mention it during booking so we can make sure there's space and your driver knows to expect a second passenger.

What is NEMT?

NEMT — Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — provides safe rides to medical appointments for people whose situation doesn't call for an ambulance. It handles recurring dialysis sessions, doctor visits, hospital discharges, post-operative pickups, and facility transfers.

NEMT serves seniors who no longer drive, people living with disabilities, and anyone whose health makes getting behind the wheel difficult. Vehicles include wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher transport for those who can't sit upright, and cars with drivers trained to provide walking assistance.

Common NEMT rides include recurring appointments like dialysis three times a week, cancer treatment, and physical therapy, along with one-time needs like getting home after outpatient surgery or a hospital discharge. The goal is simple: make sure people can reach the care they need so they stay healthier and maintain their independence.

Powered by Modern Technology

Every ride we provide runs on Duet, a trusted NEMT software platform. For you, that means real-time tracking, consistent scheduling, and direct communication with your driver from pickup to drop-off.

More Than a Ride

When a family trusts us with a ride for their parent, their spouse, or their closest friend, we feel the weight of that decision. From the first call to the moment your loved one walks through their front door, everything we do reflects one commitment: the people you care about will be treated the way we'd treat our own.
