Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Temple Hills, MD
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Temple Hills sits just inside the Capital Beltway in Prince George's County, full of long-time homeowners who have aged in place along St. Barnabas Road and Allentown Road. The care our neighbors need is scattered in every direction — MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center down in Clinton, Adventist HealthCare Fort Washington Medical Center to the south, and Fresenius Kidney Care QCDC Southern Maryland for dialysis. We provide door-to-door non-emergency medical transportation across Temple Hills and Prince George's County for dialysis, specialty visits, hospital trips, and the ordinary rides — Sunday service, a stop at Iverson Mall, lunch at the senior center — that keep a week feeling familiar.
A driver pulls into your driveway, knocks at the door, walks you to the van, and waits until you're buckled in before easing onto the road. When your visit wraps up, we're already in the parking lot. It's the kind of care we'd want for our own families — patient, on time, and grounded in the simple fact that the person riding with us is the person you love most.

Testimonials
Third time using them for post-operative transport and they never disappoint. Consistent quality, consistent care. When you're recovering from surgery, that reliability is everything.
– Roger J.
Weekly rides to physical therapy for my torn rotator cuff. The drivers always help me with the seatbelt since I can't reach across. Simple thing, but it shows they actually pay attention.
– Patrick E.
I have limited upper body strength so I need help with everything from ramp to seat positioning. The drivers are always gentle and careful with my arms and shoulders. They never make me feel helpless.
– Lucille G.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
The fastest way is to phone us at 877-369-5457, or use the "Book a Ride" button on this page. For non-urgent appointments, plan on 24 to 48 hours of notice — same-day pickup may be possible in the Temple Hills area, depending on which vehicles are already nearby.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
For routine Prince George's County trips, 24 to 48 hours of lead time works best, and dialysis riders can sit on a standing schedule. The Beltway interchange at MD-5 adds 20 to 30 minutes at rush hour, so give us 48 to 72 hours for DC academic hospital runs.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Just flag it when you book. Our accessible vans carry deployable ramps and properly inspected tie-down hardware, and they handle manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters with no surcharge. The right vehicle and a securement-trained driver are assigned to your trip from the start.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
In nearly every case, yes — a family member or caregiver is welcome to come along at no additional cost. Mention it during booking so we can hold a seat and the driver can plan the second pickup.

What is NEMT?
NEMT — short for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — is a planned ride service for people who need a safe way to reach medical care but whose situation has nothing to do with an ambulance call.
The riders who book it are typically retired neighbors who've handed over the car keys, adults living with a chronic illness, and people whose mobility makes a standard rideshare unworkable. Vehicles match the rider — ramp-equipped vans, stretcher units for patients who can't sit up, and sedans with drivers trained in walking assistance.
Many trips repeat on a steady cadence — dialysis three days a week, weekly physical therapy, monthly oncology follow-ups. Others are one-time runs after an outpatient procedure or hospital stay. Either way, the aim is the same: keep Temple Hills neighbors connected to the care that lets them stay rooted in their own homes.
Powered by Modern Technology
Every Temple Hills ride is dispatched through Duet, a purpose-built NEMT software platform that delivers live vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and open communication between rider, driver, and dispatcher from booking through arrival home.
More Than a Ride
When a Temple Hills family books with us, they're handing over the care of someone they love — a parent, a spouse, a long-time neighbor. We treat that weight seriously. From the first call until they're back inside their own front door, every choice we make answers one promise: nobody should wonder how the trip will go.
