Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in New Carrollton, MD
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
New Carrollton is a compact, transit-rich pocket of Prince George's County, but the hospitals and dialysis centers residents rely on sit just outside city limits — University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center in Largo, Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center in Lanham, and DSI Greenbelt-Lanham Dialysis Center up Annapolis Road. Metro and MARC don't help when stairs, platforms, and transfers are out of reach. We provide door-to-door non-emergency medical transportation throughout New Carrollton and Prince George's County for dialysis, specialist visits, hospital trips, and the everyday rides that keep life moving — church on Sunday, a stop by the library, dinner with grandkids in Bowie.
Every ride starts at your front door. A driver greets you, walks you to the vehicle, and waits until you're settled before pulling away. When your appointment is over, they're already in the lot. It's the kind of care we'd arrange for our own parent — patient, on time, and grounded in the understanding that the person riding with us is the person you love most.

We know medical appointments can't wait. Our providers prioritize punctuality so you never miss a treatment.

Testimonials
I was discharged with strict instructions not to bend or twist. The driver helped me into the vehicle in a way that kept my spine straight. He clearly had training for situations like mine.
– Bruce N.
Regular rides to my wife's radiation appointments. The drivers have been unfailingly kind during what's been the hardest period of our lives. Transport is the one thing we don't have to worry about.
– Jack A.
My daily wheelchair makes transport complicated because of its size and weight. But these drivers always manage it skillfully. I never feel rushed or that my chair is a burden. Truly professional.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
The quickest way is to phone us at 877-369-5457, or use the "Book a Ride" button on this page. For non-urgent appointments, plan on 24 to 48 hours of notice — same-day pickup may be possible in New Carrollton, depending on what vehicles are nearby.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
For trips inside Prince George's County, 24 to 48 hours of lead time works best, and dialysis riders can sit on a standing schedule. Because Beltway and US-50 traffic can add 30 to 45 minutes at rush hour, give us 48 to 72 hours for DC or Baltimore specialty trips.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Just note it during booking. Our accessible vans carry deployable ramps and properly tested tie-down hardware, and they accommodate manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters with no extra fee. The right vehicle and a driver trained in securement will be assigned to your trip from the start.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
In nearly every case, yes — a family member or caregiver is welcome to join the trip at no extra charge. Mention it when you call so the dispatcher can flag an extra seat and the driver can plan for the second pickup.

What is NEMT?
NEMT is short for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — a specialized ride service for people who need a safe, dependable way to reach medical care but whose situation doesn't warrant an ambulance.
The people who count on it are often older neighbors who've given up the car keys, residents managing a chronic condition, and adults with disabilities who need hands-on help. Vehicles match the rider — accessible vans with ramps, stretcher transport for those who can't sit up, and sedans with drivers trained in walking assistance.
Many trips repeat on a fixed cadence — dialysis three days a week, infusion therapy, weekly physical rehab, monthly specialist check-ins. Others are one-time runs after outpatient surgery or a hospital stay. Either way, the aim is the same: keep New Carrollton residents connected to the care that lets them live on their own terms.
Powered by Modern Technology
Every New Carrollton ride is dispatched through Duet, a purpose-built NEMT software platform that gives you live vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and open communication between rider and driver from booking through arrival home.
More Than a Ride
When a New Carrollton family books with us, they're handing over the care of someone they love — a parent, a spouse, a longtime neighbor. We treat that weight seriously. From the first phone call to the moment they're back inside their own front door, every choice traces to one promise: nobody should ever wonder how the trip will go.
