Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Arcadia, IN
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Arcadia sits at the north end of Hamilton County along SR-19, and there's no hospital, dialysis center, or specialty clinic inside town limits. Every medical appointment means a drive — about 15 minutes north on SR-19 to IU Health Tipton Hospital, 15 to 20 minutes south to Riverview Health in Noblesville, 20 to 25 minutes to Riverview Health Westfield Hospital, or 45 to 60 minutes down US-31 and I-69 to the major Indianapolis campuses. We handle door-to-door medical rides from Arcadia to all of those facilities, plus the dialysis centers in Noblesville, Shepherd's Center of Hamilton County, and the everyday trips that small-town life depends on.
Each ride starts right at your front door, even on the rural roads outside town. Our drivers greet you, walk you to the vehicle, and make sure you're comfortable before we head out. When your appointment finishes, we're already there waiting. That's the kind of care you'd want for your own mother or father — patient, dependable, and built on the trust families place in us when they hand off the person who matters most.

I use a motorized wheelchair and it's heavy. The driver handled the ramp and tie-downs like a professional. No scraping, no bumping, no fumbling. This is what proper wheelchair transport looks like.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
The easiest way to book is by calling 877-369-5457, or you can tap the "Book a Ride" button at the top of any page on our site. We recommend reserving a day or two in advance for routine trips, though same-day rides may be available depending on driver location.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
Because nearly every Arcadia ride means traveling out of town to Noblesville, Westfield, Tipton, or Indianapolis, 24 to 48 hours of notice works best. Early-morning dialysis runs and downtown Indianapolis appointments benefit from even more lead time, especially in winter when ice slows the rural roads.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Just tell us at the time you book and we'll match you with the right vehicle. Our accessible vans are equipped with ramps and secure tie-down systems, and they accommodate manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and scooters. Let us know what mobility device you use and we'll dispatch the proper ride.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Yes — having a family member or caregiver come along is welcome in most cases at no additional cost. Just bring it up when you book so your driver knows to make room and arrange the seating ahead of time.

What is NEMT?
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, often called NEMT, is a scheduled ride built for people who need a safe way to reach medical care but don't require an ambulance. It bridges the gap between a family car ride and an emergency call.
Riders who rely on NEMT are usually seniors who've stopped driving, adults living with disabilities, and people whose health makes driving risky. The vehicles fall into three categories — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher-equipped vehicles for riders who can't sit upright, and standard cars with drivers trained in walking assistance.
Some folks use NEMT for a single trip — an outpatient procedure, a hospital discharge, a one-off follow-up. Others depend on it for recurring care like dialysis three days a week, cancer infusions, or weekly physical therapy. Either way, the purpose stays simple: getting people to the care that keeps them healthier.
Powered by Modern Technology
Every Arcadia ride is coordinated through Duet, a leading NEMT software platform. That means live vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and direct communication between you and your driver from the moment you book.
More Than a Ride
Every booking comes from a family handing us someone they love. A daughter setting up her mother's dialysis runs to Noblesville. A husband waiting on his wife's discharge in Tipton. A son arranging rides from out of state. We carry that responsibility with us every mile, and nobody waiting at home should have to wonder whether the ride showed up.
