Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Vilano Beach, FL
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Vilano Beach sits just north of St. Augustine on a slim ribbon of barrier island, and one fact shapes every medical ride here — the Vilano Bridge is the only way off. Almost every appointment means heading over the bridge and down US-1 to UF Health Flagler Hospital, the Whitehall Drive dialysis cluster, or Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of St. Augustine. We provide door-to-door medical transportation for seniors and seasonal residents across Vilano Shores, Porpoise Point, Sea Colony, and the Coastal Highway corridor — for dialysis, hospital trips, specialist care, and the everyday rides that keep life moving.
The ride starts at your door, not at the end of a long beach driveway. Our drivers introduce themselves, offer an arm when the path is uneven, and make sure you're settled before we pull onto A1A. By the time the appointment ends, we're already back in the lot. It's the kind of attention you'd arrange for the people in your own family — patient, on time, and grounded in care.

Testimonials
My discharge got delayed by two hours and they adjusted without any hassle. The driver waited patiently and helped me with my bags. That kind of flexibility means everything when you're already having a tough day.
– Patricia D.
Three times a week, every week, rain or shine. That's the schedule my husband needs for his treatments, and that's exactly what they deliver. Dependable is an understatement.
– Cynthia L.
I've been in a power wheelchair for years and most transport services make me feel like an inconvenience. Not these folks. The driver treated me with dignity and made sure my chair was positioned exactly how I wanted it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
The quickest way is to phone us at 877-369-5457, or you can tap the "Book a Ride" button anywhere on this site. For non-urgent trips, we recommend 24 to 48 hours of lead time, though same-day pickups are sometimes possible depending on driver availability near the island.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
For routine appointments, 24 to 48 hours of lead time is the sweet spot. Because the Vilano Bridge is the only route off the barrier island, we suggest a few extra minutes of cushion during tourist season or peak beach weekends. Standing dialysis rides get locked in once and never need rebooking.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Tell us the chair type when you book and we'll dispatch an accessible van. Our vehicles come fitted with ramps and secure tie-down systems, and they handle manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters. No extra step on your end — we take it from there.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Yes — in most cases a family member or caregiver is welcome to ride along at no additional cost. Just let us know when you book so the driver expects an extra passenger and the right vehicle is on the schedule.

What is NEMT?
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, or NEMT, is a prearranged ride service for people who need to reach medical care reliably but aren't in a situation that calls for an ambulance.
The riders who lean on NEMT are usually seniors who've handed in the car keys, adults with disabilities, and anyone managing a condition that makes driving unsafe. The vehicles match the rider — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher transport for riders who must stay flat, and standard cars staffed by drivers ready to offer a real arm.
A good share of these rides repeat on a set rhythm — dialysis three days a week, infusion appointments, therapy blocks, monthly specialist visits. Others are single bookings — picking someone up after outpatient surgery, bringing a relative home from a hospital stay. The point stays the same: keep the care consistent so a person can live independently at home.
Powered by Modern Technology
Our transportation network is powered by Duet, a purpose-built NEMT software platform — which means live vehicle tracking, dependable scheduling, and clear back-and-forth between rider and driver from booking through drop-off.
More Than a Ride
A booking is a piece of trust placed in our hands — a parent or spouse riding with a driver they've never met. We feel the weight of that. From the first call through the walk back inside the front door, we build the whole trip around one promise: nobody should ever have to second-guess the ride.
