Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in St. Augustine Beach, FL
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
St. Augustine Beach is a tight-knit barrier-island community, but its hospitals and dialysis centers aren't on the island. Every off-island medical trip means crossing the SR-312 bridge or the Bridge of Lions to reach UF Health Flagler Hospital, Fresenius Kidney Care St. Augustine, or DaVita St. Augustine Dialysis on the mainland — and a lot of beach-side residents simply don't drive anymore. We provide professional, door-to-door medical transportation for St. Augustine Beach and the rest of St. Johns County, handling dialysis runs, specialist visits, hospital trips, and the everyday rides that keep retirees on the island connected to the care they need.
The ride begins at your front door — not at the end of a long driveway or across the parking lot. Our drivers walk up, greet you, help you to the vehicle, and make sure the seat belt and any equipment are set before pulling away. When the appointment ends, we're back waiting. It's the kind of attention you'd want for your own parent, given to the person you love most.
On-Time, Every Time
We know medical appointments can't wait. Our providers prioritize punctuality so you never miss a treatment.
Trained, Compassionate Drivers
All drivers are trained in patient assistance, ADA compliance, and safe transport protocols.

Testimonials
They made a really stressful discharge day so much easier. The driver arrived early, helped me into the vehicle, and made sure I was comfortable the entire ride home. I'll definitely book again.
– Mark C.
My mother has dialysis three times a week and I can't always be there to drive her. This service has been incredibly dependable — never a missed pickup, never late. It's taken such a weight off our family.
– Michelle H.
My husband uses a wheelchair and the experience was outstanding. The driver secured his chair carefully, helped with every step, and treated us with real respect. What could have been a difficult day felt calm and manageable.
– Rachel K.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
Reach us by phone at 877-369-5457, or tap the "Book a Ride" button anywhere on this site. For routine trips, plan on 24 to 48 hours of lead time, though same-day rides are sometimes possible depending on which drivers are working near the island.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
Plan on 24 to 48 hours of notice for most appointments. Build in a cushion for any off-island trip — every ride to UF Health Flagler or the dialysis corridor crosses a bridge, and tourist season can stretch those crossings. Standing dialysis schedules get set once and stay locked.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Let us know at the time of booking and we'll dispatch the right vehicle. Our wheelchair-accessible vans are fitted with ramps and four-point tie-down systems, and they accommodate manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters. There's nothing extra for you to handle — a quick note when you call is all it takes.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Yes — a family member or caregiver is welcome to come along at no added charge in most cases. Mention it during booking so the driver knows to expect an extra passenger and the vehicle is set up to accommodate one.

What is NEMT?
NEMT — short for Non-Emergency Medical Transportation — is a specialized ride service for people who need to get to healthcare safely and reliably but don't require an ambulance.
The people who use it tend to be seniors who've put away the car keys, adults with disabilities, and patients managing health conditions that make driving unsafe. Vehicles are matched to the rider's needs — wheelchair-accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher-equipped transport for those who must stay flat, and standard cars staffed by drivers trained in hands-on walking support.
Most rides fall into a handful of patterns: recurring care like dialysis sessions three days a week, ongoing therapy or oncology treatments, plus one-off needs like a discharge after a hospital stay or a ride home from outpatient surgery. The aim is straightforward — connect riders to the care that keeps them well and living on their own terms.
Powered by Modern Technology
Our network is powered by Duet, a purpose-built NEMT platform. That gives every St. Augustine Beach ride live vehicle tracking, locked-in scheduling, and direct communication between you and your driver from booking until you're back through your door.
More Than a Ride
Every booking is a quiet act of trust. A daughter, a husband, a longtime friend is putting someone they love in our hands. From the first phone call to the moment a safe arrival home is complete, our whole job is making sure no one — rider or family — has to wonder whether the ride will be there.
