Non-Emergency Medical Transportation in Shenandoah, TX
Safe, reliable rides for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Why Choose Us
Shenandoah may only cover two square miles along I-45, but those miles happen to sit on top of one of the densest healthcare campuses north of Houston. Vision Park alone holds Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital, Village Medical, and Avanti Senior Living within a few blocks of each other, and the larger hospitals — Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital — are right next door. We provide professional, door-to-door non-emergency medical transportation across Shenandoah and Montgomery County for dialysis sessions, hospital visits, surgical pickups, and the everyday rides that keep people moving when driving is no longer an option.
Each ride starts with a knock at your front door, not a horn from the curb. Your driver greets you, walks you to the van, and gets you settled before we ever roll onto Research Forest Drive. When the appointment ends, we're already in the lot. That's the standard we'd want for anyone in our own family — calm, on time, and shaped around the trust a household places in whoever picks up the keys.

Testimonials
Being discharged with an IV drip and a walker felt impossible. The driver helped with everything and made sure my equipment was secure. I felt like I was in caring hands the whole way.
– Karen P.
I was spending four hours a day driving my parents to their various appointments. Now they have a reliable ride service and I have my life back. The quality of care is excellent.
– Laura C.
My electric wheelchair is large and heavy, and most services struggle with it. These drivers handle it with confidence. The vehicle is roomy enough that I don't feel cramped, and the ride is always smooth.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book a ride?
The fastest way is a phone call to 877-369-5457, or you can hit the "Book a Ride" button anywhere on this page. For non-urgent trips we ask for 24-48 hours of notice, though same-day rides are sometimes possible depending on what we already have running through the Vision Park area.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule my ride?
Appointments around Vision Park or up Research Forest Drive are usually fine on same-week notice. Trips south to the Texas Medical Center should be booked 24-48 hours out so we can route around I-45 rush hour. Dialysis and other repeating treatments can run on a standing weekly slot.
Do your vehicles accommodate wheelchairs?
Yes — note the wheelchair when you book and we'll send out an accessible van with a ramp and full tie-down system. Manual chairs, power chairs, and scooters are all welcome, and we confirm the right vehicle for your equipment before the driver heads your way.
Can a family member ride along?
Of course. A family member or caregiver is usually welcome to ride along at no added cost. Just flag it at booking so the driver leaves a seat open and is expecting a second passenger from the doorstep.

What is NEMT?
Non-Emergency Medical Transportation, or NEMT, is a hands-on ride service for people who need to reach medical care safely without an ambulance. The work isn't about speed — it's a calm trip with help on both ends.
The folks who lean on NEMT are mostly seniors who've put away the keys, adults living with a disability, and anyone whose health makes driving risky. The vehicle is matched to the rider — accessible vans with ramps and tie-downs, stretcher transport for patients who must stay flat, and standard vans with walking-assistance drivers.
Many of these rides repeat on a fixed calendar — dialysis three days a week, weekly therapy, monthly infusions — while others happen once and matter just as much, like an outpatient pickup. The aim doesn't change: keep the ride from being the reason a treatment slips.
Powered by Modern Technology
Behind every Shenandoah pickup, our service is dispatched through Duet, a leading NEMT software platform — bringing live van tracking, dependable scheduling, and a direct line to your driver from booking through drop-off.
More Than a Ride
The name on a reservation is somebody's mom, dad, or closest friend stepping into our van — and we treat that the way we'd want a stranger to treat ours. From the booking call through the goodbye at the front step, our work circles one promise: the family back home should never have to second-guess the ride.
