How do I book a ride?
Call us at 877-369-5457 or tap the "Book a Ride" button on our website. We recommend booking 24-48 hours ahead for non-urgent trips, though same-day availability may be possible depending on your area and vehicle availability.
Do you accept Medicaid, Medicare or other health insurance?
We take credit card or cash payment if you book directly with us. For payment using health plans or 3rd party-payers, you will need to contact these parties directly to secure authorization of the trips and many of them may require you to book directly through them.
How far in advance should I schedule?
A day or two of lead time works well for most appointments. For dialysis or other recurring needs, we'll set up a standing schedule so your rides are locked in every week. Cross-county trips or rides to Durham and Chapel Hill benefit from extra lead time, especially during rush hour on I-40.
What if I need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle?
Tell us when you book and we'll assign the right vehicle. Our wheelchair-accessible vans come equipped with ramps and secure tie-down systems and can accommodate manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and scooters. If you have a specific chair type, mention it so we can match you with the right van.
Can a family member or caregiver ride with me?
Of course — a companion, family member, or caregiver is welcome to ride along at no additional cost on most trips. Mention it when you book so the driver knows to expect them.
